Our legislation seeks to regulate the importation and commercialization of products that may be harmful to the health of its nationals.
It is for this reason that it is necessary to obtain express authorization from the authorities in charge of the entry of any food, beverage, pharmaceutical, agrochemical or cosmetic product that seeks its sale or free trade in the territory of the Republic of Panama.
In our country there are three governmental entities involved with the granting of health records, which are: the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agricultural Development and the Panamanian Food Safety Authority.
